Founded in 1991, Butler Industries is a global industrial investor with offices in Paris, Shanghai, London and Singapore.
We are present during all phases of a company’s life – from its birth, to rebirth, through redeployment and international build-ups.
Butler Industries is the parent company of Butler Capital Partners and Butler Investment Managers.
The number of companies or groups we have acquired since our creation, which represents around 50,000 jobs.
The smallest firm in which we have invested had one employee, the largest one had more than 10,000.

Creation of Butler industries in Paris.
1993

First turnaround operation: takeover of the advertising group employing more than 3,000 people in eight countries. The group will be transferred to the world leader Omnicom four years later.
1997
SEFIMEG
First investment in real estate: 32.000m² bought from AXA.
1998
OSIATIS
Butler Industries had remained a shareholder of the IT firm for eighteen years. Over that period, the number of employees increased from 600 to 4,500. In 2013, the firm merged with the group Econocom, of which Butler Industries is the second largest shareholder.

CORUM CONVICTIONS
Support in the creation of Corum Conviction (of which Butler Industries owns 30% and is the main institutional shareholder). Corum started from scratch but manages today more than €700 million of real-estate assets.

First direct investment in Latin America. Since then, the size of the firm has doubled.

ANOVO
The most significant takeover of a bankrupt company in France in the last ten years. In three years, the number of employees increased from 4,000 to 5,400 and the turnover from €250M to €350M before being sold to Ingram Micro.
